Beth Fletcher Photography » Natural Light Photographer

Last month we celebrated Layne turning one! I’ve been so lucky to be able to photograph Layne every three months since she was born as part of my birth-to-first year plan. She’s so incredibly beautiful and her parents are adorable, too. Here’s her cake smash session – she did SO well!

Cake smash details: 30 minutes, 20 images, $300, props and cake are included in the price. Cake smash sessions can take place in my natural light studio in downtown Valparaiso or can do be done outdoors at sunset. Email me to book your session!

First and foremost, I am a Mama. Then, I’m a photographer. Combining the two, is my favorite. I’ve discovered a fun way to really challenge my technical and creative skills while capturing my two littlest ones. (and sometimes…ALL FOUR!) We’ve been holding dance parties on the bed and for the most part, it is so much fun.

Here’s the first set of the series…that’s right…I said series. These were taken back in February when it was negative seventy-billion below.

A few weeks ago I was able to shoot outside, a little before the sun began to set. I can not tell you how great it felt to be doing it – despite the cold wind and the INCHES of water at our feet. (thank goodness for rubber boots!)

The results are always worth it, though. I am in love with how this session turned out, it was done while I was mentoring someone from Texas. Such a beautiful Mama and her little one. (Mama gave birth to a baby girl not long after this session!)
